One of his ears is always down and one is always up :)   Hes got a few cuts and scars also here and there as he was mauled by his kennel “buddies” when he was at Sirious Dog Sanctuary. Hes a happy boy now :)

A really excellent build, sturdy and honest with fantastic unspoilt aspects all round. Swimming pool , sauna and mature, easily maintained gardens. Electronic gates and security system. A rescue dog from Sirius Dog Sanctuary the shelter in Moni just outside Limassol which i work at voluntarily once or twice a week . I clean, scrub, mop and feed the animals but after my stints im not able to go walkies as im quiet honestly…. Knackered! Anyway Monte has been re homed!

Especially on the bumper cars :)   Arakapas is a favourite village of mine and later this week I may just go again and eat some candy floss and test some more Carlsberg for marketing purposes. May also test some more Kleftico at one of the taverns. Will hopefully not have a Frog on me back next time :)

This very lucky soul lost all her nine lives in one go, but is now recuperating after a solitary night in the  bathroom accompanied by a tin of fish and a couple of terrines from Carrefour. This morning she had her ears filled with ear cleaner mixed with the latest anti mite serum hence the ears are a bit orange :)

The wine festival of Limassol started this weekend and we went to test the wine and compare to last year(s). The first Shock was the entry fee which has risen 25 % and when we found out that the wineries wine was not free as it always has been! Well….the picture tells all.. well shocked  :)

Some properties were lucky to escape! Lots of developers in and around this area and only one road in and out! Hard work for the Limassol fire service im sure.

Dont Forget Me

As you know Im doing my bit down at the Sirius Dog Shelter and taking a break from Property for sale in Cyprus as its quiet for me and my market. I deal in the village properties for sale generally around  limassol but business is allowing me more to utilise some of my time more productively and what better than doing some voluntary work at the shelter. The dogs need TLC and Sirius would always appreciate anyone who can help the Dogs with walkies, cleaning admin etc etc…. So if you have a free afternoon, morning that you can devote then come on Down to Moni.

You can always come down and join me and do some voluntary work as the dogs have  many needs for walkers cleaners administrative duties I know any time that any one can give would be greatly appreciated by the Dogs.

The Shepard seemed very friendly and had a few “Goat dogs” all of which were in good health and also friendly.

Both were large dogs with severe behaviour problems and undoubtedly died due to the squalid conditions they were kept in with no consideration at all for them. Its 40 deg C + now and they were caged 24 -7. My own efforts in the past have met with being personally threatened and called  lots of rude words in Greek. These two dogs did not deserve to die …. however their suffering is now over. I unfortunately know its only a matter of time until new dogs arrive  and the whole  cycle starts over again.
